The role of electric refrigerant compressor in the system
In order to continuously refrigerate, the compressor is needed to suck out the vaporized low-pressure vapor from the evaporator and do work on it, compress it into high-pressure superheated vapor, and then discharge it into the condenser (the pressure is raised to make the refrigerant vapor easily condense into liquid by releasing heat at room temperature). In the condenser, cooling water or air is used to condense the high-pressure superheated vapor into liquid and take away the heat, and the refrigerant liquid is discharged from the bottom of the condenser. So on and so forth, to achieve continuous refrigeration. In summary, this refrigeration method is to make the refrigerant vaporize at low temperature and low pressure and absorb the heat of the surrounding medium, and condense and liquefy at room temperature and high pressure and release the heat and take away by cooling water (or air). To make the refrigerant achieve such heat transfer, it is necessary to provide the low and high pressure conditions corresponding to the evaporation and liquefaction temperatures, which are created by the compressor. Types of compressors

(1) volume type compressor: mechanical methods to make the volume of the closed container becomes smaller, so that the gas compression and increase the pressure of the machine. It has two types of structure: reciprocating piston type (referred to as piston) and rotary type
(2) speed compressor: mechanical methods to make the flow of gas to obtain a high flow rate, and then in the expansion of the channel to reduce the gas flow rate, so that the kinetic energy of the gas into pressure energy, so as to achieve the purpose of increasing gas pressure, this machine is called speed compressor. Belonging to this category are centrifugal electric refrigerant compressors. When this compressor works, the gas is pushed by the impeller rotating at high speed, not only obtains a high speed, and under the action of centrifugal force, it is thrown out along the radius direction of the impeller, and then enters the expanding pressure with gradually expanding cross-sectional area, where the speed of the gas gradually decreases while the pressure then increases.
